    Anything involving someone under 18 follows our parent or guardian consent policy. In-person meetings happen only in public or supervised settings, never one-to-one in private.

Advisor code of conduct

  • Keep what founders share with you confidential, including their ideas, numbers and plans.
  • Declare any conflict of interest, and never ask a founder for money, equity, a job or a sale.
  • Give general guidance, not regulated professional advice. If a question needs a lawyer, accountant or licensed advisor, say so.
  • Meet through Launch League. Don't exchange personal contact details or social media with participants.
  • With anyone under 18: virtual sessions are arranged by Launch League, in-person meetings happen only in public or supervised settings, and there are no private one-to-one meetings or private messages.
  • Launch League may ask for a reference or a vulnerable sector check before you advise participants under 18.
  • Report any safety concern about a participant to Launch League straight away. Launch League can end any advisor's involvement.

Advisors never receive participants' contact details directly. Every introduction is arranged by Launch League, and any involving someone under 18 follows our parent/guardian consent policy. Advising is never connected to sponsorship.
