AI Call-Readiness Audit · Ontario

AI assistants are starting to call businesses. Be ready first.

In the United States, Google's AI already phones local businesses for searchers, asking about price and availability. Customers everywhere already ask AI assistants which business to call. I'll test how your business sounds to a caller, a person or an AI, and fix what fails before it costs you customers.

What the audit checks

What's changing

The next caller might not be a person

In the United States, a customer can let Google's AI call local businesses for them, ask about price and availability, and send back the answers. A business that answers clearly is in that summary; one that rings out isn't.

That feature hasn't been announced for Canada. But the habit behind it is already here: people ask AI assistants which business to choose, and the assistant can only recommend what it can find and understand about you.

Getting ready costs the same now as later, and everything it fixes, a phone that's always answered, correct hours online, a clear answer to "how much and when", helps with ordinary customers today.

The audit

Seven checks, done the way a customer would

I don't send a questionnaire. I call you, unannounced, and read your business the way an AI assistant does.

  • We call you, three ways

During business hours, at lunch and after hours, the way a customer or an AI assistant would. Does a person answer, does voicemail, or does it ring out?
  • What an AI hears

Can whoever answers say what you do, when you're open, your next available appointment and how your pricing works, in one short call?
  • Your Google Business Profile

Hours, holiday hours, phone number, services, service area, categories and booking link: what's missing, wrong or out of date.
  • Your website, read like an AI

Are your services, areas, hours and how to book written plainly enough for an AI assistant to repeat correctly, with the structured details search engines read?
  • Missed calls

What happens to a call you can't take: does the caller get a text back, a callback, or nothing at all?
  • Staff readiness

Do the people answering know an automated caller from Google is legitimate, and what never to give one (payment, passwords, card numbers)?
  • Reviews and consistency

Do your name, address and phone match everywhere, and are recent reviews being asked for and answered?

What you get back

A report you can act on this week

  • A written report with every finding, in plain English
  • The three fixes that matter most, in order
  • A one-page phone script so whoever answers handles an AI caller well
  • A corrected list of what your Google Business Profile should say
  • A 30-minute call to walk through it

How it works

Pay, two minutes of details, then I call

  1. Book the audit on this page

    $297 plus HST, through Stripe.
  2. Tell me where to call

A short form after payment: your business, the number customers call, your website and Google profile.
  3. I test it, unannounced

Calls at different times, plus a full read of your profile and website.
  4. Report and walkthrough

Within about a week: every finding, the three fixes that matter most, and a 30-minute call.

The fix, if you want it done

Every call answered, by someone who knows your business

Most audits point to the same fix. It's quoted in writing after your audit, and the $297 you paid comes off if you go ahead within 30 days.

AI phone receptionist

$750 + HST

+ $297/month to keep it running

Your line gets answered every time, by a person or by an AI that knows your services, hours and next opening, including when an AI assistant calls on a customer's behalf.

  • — An AI voice that answers when you can't, in your business's name
  • — Answers what customers and AI assistants ask: services, hours, next opening, how pricing works
  • — Books the appointment or takes the details, and texts you a summary
  • — Missed-call text-back as a backup, and every call logged with a recording
  • — Set up from your real prices and rules, tested with you before it goes live

Sometimes the fix is smaller: correcting your Google Business Profile, rewriting your service pages so an AI can repeat them, or a missed-call text-back. The audit tells you which, and you only pay for what it shows you need.

Honestly

Who this is for, and who it isn't

A good fit if
  • New customers find you by searching and then calling
  • You're often on a job, with a client, or closed when the phone rings
  • Customers ask "how much" and "when can you come" before they book
  • You haven't looked at your Google Business Profile in months
Not a fit if
  • All your work comes from a few long-term accounts, not new callers
  • You already have someone answering every call, all day, with good scripts
  • You want a guaranteed ranking or a number of new customers. No one honest can promise that

Who does the audit

An operator who has answered the phones

I'm Nick Gonzalez. Ten years in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, then eight years leading operations and growth at a company of more than 100 people, where the phone was the business. I set up the follow-up systems I sell, and I do the audit myself.

Questions

Before you book

What does the audit cost?
$297 plus HST, paid on this page. If you hire Launch League to fix what it finds within 30 days, the full $297 comes off that price.
Will this get me ranked higher on Google?
No one can honestly promise that, and Google hasn't said answering its AI calls affects rankings. What the audit does is make sure that when a customer, or an AI acting for one, tries to reach you, they get a clear answer instead of a ringing phone.
Is Google's AI calling businesses in Canada?
Not as of this page's last review. The customer-requested calls launched in the United States. This audit is about being ready, and the fixes it recommends help with ordinary callers and AI assistant searches today.
Do I have to buy anything after the audit?
No. You keep the report, the phone script and the profile corrections, and plenty of businesses fix things themselves from them. If you want it done for you, you get a written quote first.
What if my staff should just hang up on robot calls?
Many robocalls are spam, so that instinct is reasonable. The audit gives your team a simple way to tell a legitimate assistant calling for a customer from a scam, and the one rule that covers both: never give payment details, passwords or card numbers to any caller you didn't call.
How long does it take?
The test calls happen over a few business days, unannounced so they're real. The written report and a 30-minute walkthrough follow within about a week of your intake form.
What is the AI phone receptionist?
The most common fix: an AI voice that answers in your business's name when you can't, knows your services, hours and next opening, books or takes details, and texts you a summary of every call. It's set up from your real prices and rules and tested with you before it goes live.
