Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026.

Written in plain language on purpose. Questions? Reach us at admin@launchleague.ca.

1. Using This Site

  • By using launchleague.ca, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up, enter a competition, or submit a form, and to keep your account credentials secure.
  • Please don't use the site to scrape, abuse, or attempt to disrupt our systems, or to submit false, harmful, or abusive content.

2. Free Services

  • Pitch competition entry, the Business 101 course, the free 1-page business plan builder, mentorship/advisor connections, and free website help for non-profits are all provided at no cost, with no equity taken and no participation fees charged.
  • See our Competition Rules for the specific rules that apply to entering a competition.

3. The Elite Business Plan Maker (Paid)

  • The Elite Business Plan Maker is a $79 CAD one-time purchase. It is a separate, optional product — it is never required to enter a competition, and it provides no advantage in judging.
  • The plan content is generated with AI assistance (Anthropic's Claude) based on the answers you provide. AI-generated content can contain mistakes — you're responsible for reviewing and verifying everything in your plan before relying on it or sharing it with a lender, investor, or anyone else.
  • This tool does not provide legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice, and using it does not guarantee funding, loan approval, or any particular business outcome.
  • Refunds: if you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact admin@launchleague.ca within 14 days of your purchase date and we'll review your request on a case-by-case basis.

4. Your Content

  • You keep ownership of everything you submit — your business ideas, competition entries, and business plan content. Using our tools doesn't transfer any ownership to Launch League.
  • By submitting a competition entry, you give Launch League permission to use it for the purpose of running the competition (judging, feedback, and — only with your separate consent — promotional use).

5. Our Content

  • The Launch League website, branding, and software are owned by Launch League. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.

6. No Guarantees

  • Launch League provides this site and its tools on an "as-is" basis. We do our best to keep everything accurate and running smoothly, but we can't guarantee the site will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.
  • Volunteer mentorship, advisor matching, and free non-profit web help are provided by volunteers and our team on a best-effort basis, subject to availability.

7. Changes

  • We may update these terms as Launch League grows. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable within it.
