Launch League

Launch League Business Lab

Read the best business books. Actually implement them.

One book a month, four sessions, and a piece of finished work at the end of it. For owners and operators who have read plenty and applied little.

What you leave with

Not a discussion. A thing.

A finished piece of work you can use on Monday — a rewritten offer, a pricing model, a cash routine, a one-page marketing plan.

  • One book a month, and one piece of work that comes out of it.
  • A room of owners at roughly your stage, who will tell you when the offer is weak.
  • Homework, which is the part that makes the difference and the part most groups skip.
  • No pitching, no MLM, no referral round. If you came to sell to the room, this is the wrong room.

The practicals

Who it is for
Owners, operators and professionals
Shape
Four sessions, one a week, ninety minutes
Cost
$99 – $199Per four-session lab, plus HST. It is priced as implementation rather than discussion, and the revenue is part of what keeps the student programme free.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for a networking night. You are expected to do the work between sessions and show it.

The shape

How the four weeks go

  1. Week one — who you actually serve

Not your market. The specific person, their specific problem, and what they have already tried that did not work.
  2. Week two — what it is worth

Value, not cost. What changes for them, how fast, how certain, and how much effort it takes on their side.
  3. Week three — build the offer

Price, bonuses, guarantee, the name. Written down, not described.
  4. Week four — present it

You read it out. The room tells you where it would not buy. You go home and fix that part.

Questions people ask

Straight answers

What does it cost?
$99 – $199 plus HST for the four sessions. Per four-session lab, plus HST. It is priced as implementation rather than discussion, and the revenue is part of what keeps the student programme free.
Do I need to have read the book first?
Before week one, ideally the first third. Nobody is tested, and the sessions are built so somebody who has skimmed it can still do the work.
Is this networking?
No. There is no round of introductions and nobody is selling to the room. People do end up working together, but that is a side effect, not the format.
Is it online or in person?
Chatham-Kent in person where there are enough people, and over video for everywhere else in Ontario. Whichever gets a real room together first.
What if my business is tiny, or not started yet?
Fine, as long as you have something to apply it to. If you are still deciding what to start, Business 101 and the plan builder are free and a better place to begin.
