What kids will experience
Basketball, friends and a lot of fun
This is a camp for every kid who wants to play. Your child doesn't need to belong to a basketball club, and beginners are just as welcome as kids who play on a team.
- Basketball games every day
- Friendly competitions and fun challenges
- Teamwork and making friends
- Positive, encouraging coaching
- A short daily Bible lesson (optional)
- Beginners and experienced players both welcome
Junior Basketball Camp
Ages 7–10 · Mornings, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Skills, games and friendly challenges for younger players and beginners.
Basketball Mini Camp
Ages 10–13 · Afternoons, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
More game play and competitions, with players grouped by experience.
Every camper takes home: a basketball to keep, a camp t-shirt, a cinch bag.
Every camper gets one kit, including campers who come both weeks.
Faith at camp
A short Bible lesson, and it's optional
Every day includes a short, age-appropriate Bible lesson. Each lesson is a few minutes on a theme like teamwork, character, courage or kindness. It is part of the day, it is never pushy, and nobody is asked what they believe.
The Bible lesson is optional. Tell us on the registration form, and your child will do a supervised basketball activity in the gym instead. Coming to camp never means being expected at a church service.
Everyone is welcome
Camp is open to every family, whatever you believe. We never ask about religion, and registering has nothing to do with going to church.

Meet the camp leader
Nick Gonzalez

Nick Gonzalez founded Launch League in Chatham-Kent to help young people find their potential and build real skills. He has more than 15 years of experience coaching basketball at all levels, developing players on and off the court through structured training, character development and community leadership.
He grew up going to a program called 3rd Level, on the third floor of a church, after school. Kids did chores, hung out, and there was always someone there who knew their names. He says it was one of the best things in his life at that age.
That is why Launch League Camps exist: somewhere good to be over the school break, kids to play with, and an adult who knows your child's name.
What parents need to know
The practical details
Drop-off and pickup
Arrive a few minutes before your session starts and pick up on time. Campers are released only to you, your emergency contact or an adult you list on the registration form, who may be asked for ID.
Snacks and water
Bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. No lunch is provided, and sessions end before or start after lunch.
Supervision
Groups are small: at most 12 campers in a session. Staffing and supervision details are emailed to families before camp.
Weather and closures
Camp is indoors. If a storm or a building problem means a day can't run, we email and text families as early as we can. If Launch League cancels a camp, you get a full refund.
Safety
Tell us about allergies and health needs on the form; only the camp staff who need them see them. Safety and emergency procedures are emailed to families before camp.
