We ask teenagers to pick a future before they have had the chance to try anything. Career Launch is the way into the work that fixes that — and it starts with you telling me what is actually going on.

What happens

Four steps, in this order

Nothing here asks for much until you know what you are getting. That is on purpose.

  1. You apply — about three minutes

    Seven questions about what is going on, what you have already tried, and whether your teenager is actually up for it. No account, nothing charged.

  2. I read it and reply personally

    Not a sequence. If it looks like a fit I send you the next step. If it does not, I say so and point you somewhere that helps.

  3. You reserve a consultation

    A small deposit holds the time. Attend and decide against it and you get it back in full; carry on and it comes off the price. It exists because the hours are mine and there are not many of them.

  4. Then the Career Discovery Profile

    The real assessment — interests, strengths, what they have already ruled out. It opens once the consultation is booked, so that when we speak I have already read it and we skip the part where you explain your own child to a stranger.

By the time we talk I should be able to open with “I saw that they like working with people, do not enjoy sitting still, and have mentioned trades and physiotherapy” — not “so tell me about your kid”.
