For businesses and organizations
Take a student on. Co-op or volunteer.
Tell us what you could use help with: which tasks, how many young people, how much time and how often. Launch League will bring you people who fit, and handle the introduction.
How it works
You describe the work. We find the match.
You tell us what you need
The tasks, how many people, how much time, how often, and from what age. Five minutes. We write back
A person reads it and calls or emails you to talk it through. If it is a co-op, we point you to the school's own process. We introduce someone who fits
Through a parent or guardian, and the school for a co-op. You meet, and you decide.
Co-op placement
A student for a school term, working at your place for credit. Good for trades, retail, offices, farms and shops that can teach as they go.
Volunteers
Unpaid help for a cause or a community need, one time or on a schedule. Good for events, food drives, animal care and grounds work.

What can you offer?
One form for co-op, volunteers, or both.
Launch League introduces; the school places a co-op student, and the school decides what counts toward credit or hours. We promise no placement and no particular number of hours.
Questions
Before you send it
- What is the difference between a co-op placement and a volunteer?
- A co-op student works with you for part of a school term and earns high school credit; the placement is set up through their school, which has its own paperwork and a teacher who checks in. A volunteer gives unpaid time to a cause or a community need, once or on a schedule. You can offer either, or both.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Telling us what you can offer is free, and so is the introduction.
- Who decides who comes to us?
- You do. Launch League introduces young people who fit what you described, through a parent or guardian and, for a co-op, through the school. Nothing is arranged until you and they have both agreed. We never promise a placement or a number of hours.
- Will the hours count toward a student's 40?
- The principal decides, not us or you. We tell families to check with their school's guidance office before starting. Paid work and anything already part of a course generally does not count as volunteering.
- Do you collect anything about the students?
- Not on this page. You tell us about your organization and the work; we ask for nothing about any young person here.
