About
What WOS does
Women on Site is a Canadian community for women and gender-diverse people working in construction, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture and STEM. It was started because many people in these fields lack connection and support.
Its goal is a welcoming community built on networking, mentorship and connection, which it says helps keep a diverse workforce in these industries. Its site notes that isolation is a major reason many women in construction think about leaving.
