Which CAF jobs lead toward industrial electrician?
None of these is a recognized route to a credential. They are signposts, so read each reason before you decide.
Our reading, not an official link
Nobody official states this link. It is our reading of what the CAF's occupation page says the job trains. Ask a recruiter before relying on it.
Our reading, not a stated recognition: the page's training covers physics, electrical and electronic principles, uninterruptable power systems, generators and control and monitoring systems over about 22 weeks, and lists 'Industrial Electrical Technician' as a related civilian job. Skilled Trades Ontario's own table names an 'Electrical Technician' trade, which we could not confirm is this occupation.
See the Industrial electrician career guide for pay, outlook and the civilian route in, and the military matching toolfor other careers. Joining an occupation does not by itself earn a civilian licence. Entry, medical, security and service-length requirements are the CAF's to state: check forces.ca.
