- The minimum required education to apply for this occupation is a Secondary school graduation diploma/certificate or equivalent, including one of the following: Gr 12 / CEGEP 201 Applied Math Science Option, Sec V Math Technical and Scientific Option, Sec V Math The ideal candidate will already have a baccalaureate degree or diploma in a Cyber Security related field at an accredited institution in: Computer Science Network Security Computer Systems Technology Computer Information Systems Information Systems Security
- Initial training
- Basic Military Qualification (basic training) at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. After your BMQ, Cyber Operators will attend a CAF-approved college program on computer network security. You will receive instruction from civilian instructors on the following topics.
